Versa Bar Continuous Cast Iron Is an Ideal Metal for Couplings
The durability and corrosion resistance of cast iron has made it the standard for both in-ground and above-ground couplings used to connect pipes in water lines, storm and wastewater pipes and vent piping. However, not all cast iron is created equally.
Besides providing all grades of Versa Bar cast iron in raw form, American Iron & Alloys has both an in-house specialty castings and precision CNC machining shop where we can manufacture any couplings you require. Whether you need couplings for different diameter pipes, for repairing split pipe or correcting misaligned piping, we can produce them far more cost effectively than if you were to purchase Versa Bar and have it shipped elsewhere for production of your parts.
Back in the 1980s, American Iron & Alloys was an early adopter of the lean supply approach. With years of experience responding quickly to our customers’ needs, we are uniquely qualified to fulfill your recurring needs for couplings on an as-needed basis.
We Stock Versa-Bar Continuous Cast Iron in All Grades
Versa-Bar cast iron offers significant advantages over sand-cast and ingot cast iron. With its uniform metallic structure, Versa-Bar is much easier to machine than sand cast iron and our continuous cast iron process, which solidifies the iron at a more uniform rate, produces a far more durable iron. Surprisingly,Versa-Bar actually costs less than sand cast or ingot cast iron.
As the worldwide leader in Versa Bar continuous cast iron tubing, bars and components, you can depend on American Iron & Alloys having what you need—when you need it. Ductile or gray iron, from V1A to V5, American Iron & Alloys is your one-stop source for both raw materials and finished products manufactured to your precise specifications.
